MY GOAL IS TO INNOVATE THE DIGITAL EXPERIENCES WE ENCOUNTER, BY DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING CREATIVE SOLUTIONS.
I conceptualize ideas to create designs for a number of media formats. Designs are for user interfaces, game art, marketing material, website mock-ups and more. Creations start as drawings on paper and are iterated using graphic editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
Teamwork and effective communication are at the core of my work ethic while applying Agile and Scrum workflow methodologies. Using them for task allocation and real-time reporting of software malfunctions in group projects. Also key are face to face discussions with team-members for status updates.
My name is Akito Roberge and I am a 3D graphics designer with experience in asset creation for video games, architectural visualization, and advertising. I am a recent graduate of the Interactive Multimedia & Design dual degree-diploma program from Carleton University and Algonquin College.
Communication between designers and developers is essential in order to the maximize work flow during a development process. I maintain this as an area of strength, aware of the requirements and limitations of both technical and visual elements.
Growing up, I always had an interest for the latest technology and games. I wondered about the interactions with in game entities such as vehicles, environments, and characters. Increasingly detailed graphics and designs of modern games and movies always motivated me to continue pursuing this field.
A COLLECTION OF MY WORK.
